Custom Downloader back on line

The custom download app is now back and should be working properly. You can use either that or the worldgate solution for the PW files.

Please use worldgate (see server information for details) to download client files for now.

When I go to server details, as you say...neither one of the URLs there work when I type them into worldgate. Since this is the only way that I know how to find PW definitions, I find your directions lacking.

your world gate client isn't happening either. Might wanna get that checked out.

Cosper, full details about how to download using worldgate can be found on the second paragraph under "Connection Info" on the server information page: http://www.nwn2-ldoa-si.blogspot.com/

leandro,

Can you be more specific? I went through the directions posted on the server info page and it's working just fine. The one thing I noticed is that worldgate has a new 1.7 beta client so I updated the instructions to say "...get the latest non-beta.." so it's clear what version they should be getting.

Ok, specifically I am currently using worldgate client 1.5.1, a non beta release. Per instructions the url chunkychode.com/nwn2server when loaded into worldgate returns an error msg: "couldn't finish reading from web: The remote server returned an error (404)Not Found)

Odd, I juse verified it across a bunch of machines and they all worked fine. What OS are you using?

As an aside the custom app downloader is back online.

I find it very strange indeed. As an aside, worldgate is now working for me ( I have not changed what version I am using) and the direct download still does not.
